Bebington started well from the whistle. Forcing Wrexham to consolidate in defence. Bebington were awarded several penalty corners but hard working Wrexham’s defence held them out. Laila Harding in goal made several telling saves with Gemma Bagot, Bethan Hughes and Grita Cooke clearing to set up Wrexham’s attack. Wrexham countered and had several flurries into Bebington’s D. Wrexham were awarded a penalty corner but could not convert it into a goal. Kez Ogden Tina Lowe and Georgia Moores attacked well but just couldn’t get a shot at goal. Wrexham still attacking with Tina Lowe sweeping at goal but the shot was saved by Bebington keeper. Kez passed the ball from the right across the goal for Tina to stretch to slip it into the goal but couldn’t quite connect on the ball which went wide. The game was end to end with Bebington having several breakaways into the D but Wrexham managed to get back and stop the shot.
Both teams had moments of possession and missed opportunities to open the score but the goals did not materialise and remained a creditable 0-0 draw. Next Saturday Away at Neston 11.30 start
