North Wales Girls U18 Qualifying Tournament
This was held at Mold Sports Centre on a cold morning Wrexham were playing against Rhuthin, Colwyn Bay, Newtown.
Molly Cross scored first goal against Ruthin, she was well placed on the post and controlled it in air off Caro Hulme’s shot to put Wrexham ahead.
In the Newtown game Claudia Whittaker scored in a well worked penalty corner, then Caro Hulme put in the second goal with a lifted shot.
Colwyn bay went into the lead then Wrexham were awarded a penalty corner at end of the game Caro Hulme scored from straight strike.
This was 1-1 and so Claudia scored in final after another well worked penalty corner.

Everyone played well despite some of the girls being out of position katelyn Tilston in goal made many great saves in the final, and the marking was effective in defence. Everybody ran and worked hard throughout.

Wrexham now play in the next round against teams from South Wales on March 29th Venue TBA
