A wet away game to Oxton was on the cards for Wrexham L1s this week.
An extremely equal match with both teams putting in 110% into the game in the torrential rain.
Wrexham had some great chances created by Eimear Flanagan and Rach Dathan in the centre leading to Helen Roberts and Laudie Royle taking some great shots at the goal.
With Oxton fighting back, some good defending from Lianne Preston and Claire Harvey kept the ball clear of the D.

The rain would not relent and neither would Wrexham. An incredible play of passing from defence through mid field up to Helen Roberts led to a fantastic straight strike that found Oxton’s backboard.
However, Oxton broke through soon after, also scoring a straight strike.
It was end to end action for the rest of the match with both teams putting their all into their attacks.
