After a string of wins, Wrexham started with heads high against Bolton. The first half was a masterclass from Wrexham with fantastic passing and teamwork with the first goal coming from a straight strike by Cara Puvogel. Some good chances followed with a second goal from Meg Jones off a rebound. The play stayed mostly in Bolton’s half with an amazing deflection from Helen Bainbridge bringing the score to 3-0.

The second half was a tougher game for Wrexham with Bolton picking up the pace. Some good controlling play by Rach Dathan in the middle led to a fantastic run from Laudie Royle and scoring a birthday goal for herself. Wrexham kept the pressure up and Rach Dathan scored another straight strike.
