An overcast trip to Bowdon was on the cards for Wrexham this week.
The game started with even play from both sides, with some great passing in midfield between Ellis Lloyd-Jones, Claudia Royle and Kez Ogden.
Bowdon kept pushing, but Wrexham’s defence of Rach Dathan, Amy Jones, and Rach Warrenger kept them at bay.
A few chances came in the first half from Zoe Kershaw and Tina Bignall but no goals were scored.

Wrexham started strong in the second half with great passing and movement from Emily Preston and Phoebe Pemberton.
However, Bowdon kept pressing having their own chances at goal which were stopped by Meg Jones.
Play came consistently back into Wrexham’s D but Wrexham played a strong defensive game and kept the ball away from the goal.
