Another rearranged game for Wrexham this week, this time against Macclesfield.
With various players missing, Wrexham struggled to find their feet in the first half conceding two goals from unmarked forwards.
After a brief team meditation session from Ellis at half time, the second half was much better for Wrexham. Some fantastic curving runs from Emily Preston led to a few chances on goal and Rach Dathan controlled the game from the centre of the pitch.
With a short corner won by Rach Dathan in the last few seconds of the match, Wrexham settled their heads and Shiv Henn slotted her first goal of the season into the bottom corner.
Despite losing, it was a fun game with some lovely sportsmanship from both teams and great umpiring.
