Even though Wrexham had all the pressure Buckley worked a great counter to put the ball into the back of the net. To open the score Buckley then scored a second goal to go further into the lead 2-0. This remained the score at halftime
Second half Wrexham attacked with pace, grit and determination. Beth Hughes brought the ball out of defence she passed the ball to Captain Kez Ogden, who released Eli Davies down the right flank. Eli crossed the ball into the D for Megan Williams to smash the ball into the goal to make it 2-1. Both teams were evenly matched with end to end hockey. The ball came out from Bethan again linking with Eli who passed ball to kez to Megan and then back to Kez who slammed it into the net to bring the game to 2-2 draw. Another attack from Wrexham, Eli crossed the ball and kez collected it in the D who struck at goal with Gemma Bagot playing high up front put her stick down to tip the ball into the back of the net to make it 3-2. Wrexham’s Eli took the ball into the D Gemma hit towards the goal for Lowri Jones to score her first goal for Wrexham was well positioned on the left post to tip it into the goal. Wrexham scored again with another great strike from Megan Williams. This was the final score. 5-2
